Services · AI Search Optimisation

AI Search Optimisation.

When a buyer asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity a question, something has to be the answer. We put you ahead of the competitor, then make sure the model can actually cite you once it finds you.

What it is

Getting found, and getting cited.

AI Search Optimisation is GEO and AEO run as one connected practice. GEO is the broader discipline: engineering visibility inside the AI-generated answers produced by ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Claude and Copilot. AEO is the technical layer underneath it (schema, entities and content structured for retrieval), determining that a model finds your page and quotes it.

Unlike traditional search, there's no ranked list of ten blue links to compete for. There's one synthesised answer, built from whichever sources the model trusts and can cleanly extract from. We get you into that source set, structure what we publish so the model can actually quote it, and keep you there as the answer changes.

What we do

Five things, run as one programme.

Mapping the exact questions your buyers ask AI at every stage of their journey
The technical groundwork that helps AI engines find and quote you correctly: comparison tables, FAQ schema, answer-first structure
SME-led content and briefs built from real buyer questions and sales calls
Building your presence across the third-party sites and publications AI engines already trust and pull from
Continuous tracking of citation rate, share of voice and mention position, by engine

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between GEO and AEO?

They're two halves of one practice. GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) is the broader discipline, winning visibility across generative engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) is the technical layer underneath it, the schema, entity and content work, that turns "the model found your page" into "the model quoted your page." We run them together because one without the other doesn't work.

How is this different from SEO?

Traditional SEO optimises for ranking positions on a results page. AI Search Optimisation optimises for citation: whether a generative model names, quotes or recommends you when it synthesises an answer. The signals overlap, but this work adds mapping the exact questions your buyers ask AI, making sure AI engines understand who you are, and building presence on the third-party sites they trust, none of which classic SEO covers, on the SEO foundation we build in parallel.

Do I need this if I already rank well on Google?

Ranking well on Google doesn't guarantee citation inside an AI-generated answer, the two are measured and won differently. Most of our clients start this work precisely because strong traditional SEO wasn't translating into AI visibility.

How long does it take to show results?

Early citation movement is often visible within 8 to 12 weeks of the strategy phase completing. Share of voice and visibility typically compound over 3 to 6 months as AI engines build a clearer picture of who you are and third-party citations build.

Do you write the content, or just the strategy?

Both. Every brief is SME-led and every draft is edited by a senior specialist, never templated or handed off to junior writers. We can also enable your in-house team to ship more of it themselves.

Do you work with SaaS companies at every stage, or just Series A/B?

We specialise in Series A/B SaaS and software brands. That focus means we understand the specific buyer journey and budget realities of that stage, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach built for enterprise or pre-seed companies.

What happens if a competitor gets cited instead of us?

We track citation share by engine, so if a competitor overtakes you on a key query, we see it early. We then adjust the underlying content and structure rather than waiting for the next reporting cycle to flag it.
