B2B SEO agency, London
SEO isn't dead. It's the foundation AI search is built on, and it needs rebuilding with new rigour for an index that increasingly answers questions instead of only ranking pages. Our senior specialists are measured on pipeline.
Trusted by VC-backed B2B teams

B2B SEO makes a software company's site easy for search engines to crawl, understand and trust, and earns the topical authority and third-party signals that decide where it ranks. In the AI search era those same signals feed generative engines, so strong SEO is the foundation that GEO and AEO are built on.
Technical health, topical authority and third-party trust are exactly what generative engines evaluate too. They are just applied through a different lens. Get the SEO fundamentals right and GEO and AEO have something solid to build on. Without them, AI engines have nothing to cite.
We run SEO and our GEO agency programme as one connected practice, under a single plan.
SEO and GEO, side by side
| SEO | GEO | |

| Goal | Rank pages and earn clicks | Be named, cited and recommended |
| Where | Google, Bing | ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, AI Overviews |
| Measured by | Rankings, sessions, leads | Visibility, share of voice, citations |
| Shared foundation | Technical health, authority, trust | The same, plus the sources AI trusts |

In depth
AI engines lean on search indexes to find the sources they use. A page that cannot be crawled, indexed or understood is unlikely to be cited, however good the writing is. That makes technical health and a clean site structure prerequisites for AI visibility, not alternatives to it.
Google also remains a major route to your site, and much of your buyer research still starts and ends in a results page. The AI layer sits on top of search and does not replace it. A balanced programme measures both and reports on the gap between them.
We have written more on this in is SEO dead? A B2B marketer's guide.
B2B software has long sales cycles, several decision-makers and a small number of high-value searches. A programme built around traffic volume misses that. We focus on the buyer-intent topics that drive pipeline, such as comparisons, alternatives, integrations and evaluation questions, and on the pages that answer them.
Content is written to be useful to a buying committee and quotable by an AI engine at the same time. That means answer-first structure, specific detail about the product and honest comparisons, in place of generic thought leadership written for keyword coverage.
We start with the foundations: crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals and site architecture. We check that search engines and AI crawlers can reach and render your key pages, that important content is not hidden behind scripts, and that internal linking tells engines which pages matter.
Technical fixes are implemented directly on your site, not just listed in an audit and handed back. That includes schema, metadata and internal linking. Our guide on how internal linking strengthens AI search signals explains why the last of those matters more than most teams expect.
Authority comes from covering a defined set of topics in depth and consistently, so that search engines and AI models treat you as a specialist. We map the topics your buyers care about, find the gaps against competitors, and build content in a deliberate order so each piece strengthens the others.
Templated content decays. We prioritise editorial that compounds: pages that keep earning links, mentions and citations because they are specific, current and genuinely useful. Our piece on teaching LLMs to trust you covers the thinking.
Third-party trust signals matter for rankings and for AI visibility alike. We map the off-site gaps between you and your competitors and identify priority targets. Placement work runs as an add-on, and sits alongside our digital PR service, because earned coverage and links come from the same activity.
Whether links still matter for AI search is a common question, and the honest answer is nuanced. We set out the evidence in do backlinks still matter for AI search?.
Rankings and organic sessions are inputs, not results. We report on leads, pipeline and influenced revenue, alongside AI visibility and citation rate, so SEO work is judged on the same terms as the rest of the programme. You get a live dashboard benchmarked against named competitors, regular review meetings and a dedicated Slack channel.
Scaling AI-written content is not a low-risk strategy. Lily Ray at Amsive tracked more than 220 sites that publicly used AI content tools, and the pattern was consistent enough to earn a name, Mount AI: a fast climb, then an equally fast cliff. Across that group, 54% lost 30% or more of their peak organic traffic.
The reason is simple. Thin, templated, self-serving pages are exactly what both Google and AI engines are now demoting. We favour fewer, better pages written by specialists, edited by a senior person and grounded in your product truth.
AI search is built on the same retrieval and ranking machinery as search. It did not replace the basics, it raised their importance. Pages still need to be crawlable, fast and written in clean semantic HTML with a sensible content hierarchy, and many AI crawlers read the raw HTML without running your JavaScript.
Authority and topical depth still shape who gets cited, and AI answers churn quickly, so regularly updated, accurate content keeps you in the consideration set.
Every engagement starts with a fixed-scope strategy phase from £5,995 (+VAT). Ongoing Growth retainers typically start from £3,500 (+VAT) per month. Your roadmap is yours to keep.

Yes. Generative engines are built on the same underlying signals as traditional SEO: technical health, topical authority and third-party trust. Strong SEO fundamentals are the foundation GEO and AEO are built on, not a separate, declining channel.
SEO optimises for ranking positions on a results page. GEO optimises for being named, cited and recommended inside an AI-generated answer. The signals overlap, which is why we run both as one programme, but GEO adds prompt-level measurement and work on the third-party sources AI engines retrieve.
Rankings and organic sessions are inputs. The metrics we report on are leads, pipeline and influenced revenue, alongside citation rate and AI visibility, so SEO work is judged on the same terms as the rest of the programme.
We implement technical fixes directly on your site, including schema, metadata and internal linking, rather than flagging them in an audit and handing the list back.
Yes. Many teams keep an SEO partner for volume and bring us in for the AI search layer. We share a prompt set and reporting so the two programmes support each other.
The strategy phase is priced from £5,995 (+VAT) depending on scope, and Growth retainers typically start from £3,500 (+VAT) a month. See the pricing page for the full breakdown.
